Sunningdale was proud to host The Senior Open Championship upon the Old Course in July 2025 — a return to one of the great heathland stages of the championship game.
Four days of championship play across heather and pine, contested by the finest senior players in the world, in surroundings that have shaped the game for more than a century.

Since its opening in 1900, Sunningdale has welcomed many of golf's most celebrated names and events to its heathland fairways. The clubhouse and courses remain devoted to the traditions of championship golf — quietly, and without fanfare.
