The Courses
Two heathland masterpieces, side by side.

Willie Park Jr · 1900
The Old Course
Laid out by Willie Park Jr in 1900 and refined by Harry Colt in the years that followed, the Old Course is widely considered one of the finest heathland courses in the world.
Heather-lined fairways thread between Scots pines and silver birch; the greens, small and subtly contoured, demand both touch and imagination.

Harry Colt · 1923
The New Course
Designed by Harry Colt and opened in 1923, the New is a worthy companion to its older sister — some say its equal.
Set across the same magnificent heathland, with bolder elevation and strategic bunkering, it rewards the thoughtful player and never tires upon repetition.
